Comprehensive Financial Planning is best described as the analysis of and providing of solutions for achieving multiple financial goals together.
Typically, an Investment Consultant will discuss with you / your family, personal goals such as retirement, taxes, higher studies funding, asset purchases, debt management and insurance. This information will be captured and used as a reference in creating the Plan.
The objective and outcome is a Plan for accomplishing your / your family's goals, that is to be implemented and monitored over the years.
When we at PersonalFN create a Comprehensive Financial Plan for you, it is specific to your needs, goals and objectives. From start to finish, with steps to bring the Plan closer to meeting your goals, a Comprehensive Plan typically can take between one to two weeks to create.
The Comprehensive Financial Planning process begins with an initial discussion. Your PersonalFN Investment Consultant will inquire about your risk tolerance, current and future cash flows, assess your overall financial situation and your family's objectives.
This could include anything from sending children abroad for higher studies, to buying a second home, starting a new business, or traveling the world during retirement – or before!
Your Consultant will review all the information (if need be your Consultant will ask for supporting documentation / request to speak with your tax consultant / accountant). The Consultant will analyze all the information to determine how close your family is to meeting its goals and will then create strategies for accomplishing them.
