Edelweiss Mutual Fund has Introduced a new scheme – Edelweiss Nifty Next 50 Index Fund

It is an open-ended equity scheme replicating Nifty Next 50 Index.

Accordingly, the investment objective of the scheme is to provide returns before expenses that closely correspond to the total returns of the Nifty Next 50 Index subject to tracking errors. However, there is no assurance that the investment objective of the Scheme will be realized and the Scheme does not assure or guarantee any returns.

Under normal circumstances, Edelweiss Nifty Next 50 Index Fund will hold an allocation of 95% to 100% of its assets in Equity and equity related securities constituting the Nifty Next 50 Index and 0% to 5% in Debt and Money Market Instruments.

As per the Scheme Information Document, Edelweiss Nifty Next 50 Index Fund will track Nifty Next 50 Total Return Index and will use a passive or indexing approach to try and achieve the Scheme’s investment objective. The Scheme will not attempt to beat the markets it tracks and will not seek defensive positions at any point in time, irrespective of the market movements.

Passive approach means the Scheme will deliver index linked returns and eliminates risks pertaining to over/underperformance vis-à-vis a benchmark. The Scheme shall invest all of its funds as per its investment objective and asset allocation pattern, except to meet its liquidity requirements.

Edelweiss Nifty Next 50 Index Fund’s performance will be benchmarked against Nifty Next 50 Index Total Return Index.

The scheme will be managed by Mr Bhavesh Jain.

The NFO opens for subscription on November 10, 2022 and closes on November 24, 2022. The scheme will reopen for continuous sale and repurchase on or before December 08, 2022.

The fund’s NAV is priced at Rs 10/- per unit during the NFO period. The minimum subscription amount is Rs 5,000 and in multiples of any amount thereafter.

The scheme offers Regular Plan and Direct Plan each plan offers Growth and Income Distribution cum capital withdrawal option (IDCW) option.
