quant Mutual Fund introduces – quant Momentum Fund

It is an open-ended equity scheme following momentum theme.

Accordingly, the investment objective of the scheme is to achieve long-term capital appreciation for its investors. This objective will be pursued by strategically investing in a diversified portfolio of equity and equity-related instruments. There is no assurance that the investment objective of the Scheme will be realized.

Under normal circumstances, quant Momentum Fund will hold an allocation of 80% to 100% in Equity and equity related instruments, 0% to 20% in Debt and money market instruments, 0% to 20% in Foreign Equity and Equity related instruments and Overseas ETFs and 0% to 10% in Units issued by issued by REITs & InvITs.

As per the Scheme Information Document, quant Momentum Fund will strategically invest in diversified portfolio of equity and equity-related instruments following a momentum theme. The selection of these securities will be based on a quantitative model meticulously designed to identify potential investment opportunities that exhibit the potential for significant capital appreciation over the specified investment horizon.

The investment approach revolves around a thematic quantitative momentum strategy and therefore, the investment strategy aims to forecast the expected return using momentum attributes and auto-correlations to optimize the risk-return trade-off of the portfolio primarily derived from fund manager’s Multi-Dimensional Research. The fund manager may, from time to time, review and modify the Scheme‘s investment strategy if such changes are considered to be in the best interests of the unit holders and if market conditions warrant it.

The scheme will be managed by Mr Sandeep Tandon, Mr Ankit Pande, Mr Sanjeev Sharma (for debt) and Mr Vasav Sahgal.

The NFO opens for subscription on October 30, 2023 and closes on November 13, 2023. The schemes will reopen for continuous sale and repurchase on Within five business days of allotment date.

The minimum subscription amount is Rs 5,000/- and in multiples of Re.1/- thereof.

The scheme offers Regular Plan and Direct Plan each plan offers Growth option and Income Distribution cum capital withdrawal Option (IDCW).
