Kothari Pioneer declares 3% on income-builder

Kothari Pioneer Mutual Fund (KPMF) has announced 3% dividend in the quarterly dividend plan of its Income Builder Account. It also declared 1% dividend under the Monthly Income option of the scheme.

While speaking to a leading business daily R. Sukumar, fund manager of the Income Builder, said, 'We expect interest rates to remain steady in the short-to-medium term. Therefore we have increased the average maturity period of the scheme's portfolio to 1.78 years.'

KPMF also announced 0.58% dividend under the monthly income plan of its Treasury Management Account. Investors who are invested in the schemes as on December 24, 1999 will avail of the dividend. This was reported in a statement released by KPMF.
