Fund Outlook

Since a significant portion of the fund is mandated to be invested in US equities, its performance will largely depend on the economic, social and political developments taking place in the U.S. and also the currency movement. .At present there are signs of economic vigour appear in the US economy, with unemployment data dwindling and business confidence along with consumer confidence strengthening. But along positivity permeated, valuations are not cheap in the US stocks amid a period of risk-on. There are chances that this year, the Federal Reserve may increase interest rates. If that happens, there could be in volatility in the markets…and more so, as the second quarter (Q2) results of US corporates seem unimpressive.
